This page contains the privacy statement of Elpical Software B.V. (hereinafter: ‘the Data Controller’). The Data Controller has its registered office at Nijverheidsstraat 9 (6987 EN) in Giesbeek and is registered in the Chamber of Commerce under number 30141455.  This privacy statement presents our data and explains what personal data is, what is meant by the processing of personal data, why we process your personal data, what your rights are, and what we do to ensure that your personal data is processed securely. This privacy statement is applicable any time that you use our websites ( and/or, place an order, establish a contract or download and register trial software. Elpical Software B.V. respects the privacy of the visitors to our website and our (potential) customer base. Purposes of the data processing 

We collect your data in order to allow us to establish new contracts or execute existing contracts for the sale and service of our software products and to provide support.  Specific purposes: 

Contact form available on our website 

Via the contact form – available on the main domain – we request only the information necessary to allow us to contact you concerning the provision of our services. The data that is requested is limited to: ‘First and last name’, ‘E-mail address’, ‘Phone Number’, ‘Company Name, ‘Country, ‘Product’ and possibly additional information in order to tailor our services to your requirements. The completed contact form is stored in the database of the website (hosted by SalesForce and transmitted to a representative within Elpical Software B.V., who will contact you concerning your application/interest.   The website and the forms only operate via a secure HTTPS connection with a valid SSL certificate active on the web server. We send the forms to our e-mail addresses via an e-mail service called Gmail. 

E-mail and phone 

Elpical Software B.V. uses Gmail from Google for e-mailing and software from KPN and T-Mobile for phone calls. Data that you send to us by e-mail will be stored. Any personal or sensitive information that is transmitted by e-mail or phone will be stored directly in the systems designed for this purpose. Elpical Software B.V. uses two systems:  Zendesk – Support system. Storage of customer contact details. More information on this is available in section 1.4. –  SalesForce – 

Chat feature on the website 

On, you can chat directly with one of our staff members. The chat can be completely anonymous. Our Zendesk chat system does not store personal data. Only if an employee specifically requests it, you can transmit your personal contact details. This will be restricted to a name, e-mail and phone number and is intended only to be able to contact you later about a specific question or service. The data is stored in the aforementioned system: ‘SalesForce’. 


SalesForce (VerticalResponse) is used for sending newsletters. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletters at any time via the accompanying e-mails. 

Google Analytics 

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service that is provided by Google Inc. (‘Google’). Google Analytics uses cookies to help the website analyse how users use the site. Information generated by cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transferred to Google and stored by Google on servers in the United States.     Google uses this information to track how you use the website, to draw up reports about the website activity for the website operators and to offer other services concerning the website activity and Internet use.   Google may provide this information to third parties if they are required to do so by law, or if these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Google will not combine your IP address with other data in their possession. You can refuse the use of cookies by choosing the appropriate settings in your browser.  Elpical uses Google-Analytics and has taken the following measures with regard to the protection of your personal data:  Google Analytics Remarketing Google Analytics allows us to measure how you use We use this knowledge to help you choose the product that is most suitable for you and to display offers for products that may be of interest to you. Without this cookie, you would miss out on personal recommendations on our websites, in our newsletter and in e-mails with personal tips. More information is available on the Google website   Furthermore, on the website it is possible to completely disable Google Analytics. In this case, no (anonymous) analytical data on you will be stored. You can read how to do this in the Cookies section. 

Google AdWords 

Cookies that gather information about how a user uses the website. This information is used in order to display the most relevant advertisements for a specific user on third-party sites (Google), based on recent searches. Google AdWords uses session and persistent cookies for its advertising products. We use these tracking cookies in order to create what is known as a ‘lookalike’ target group. Facebook & Instagram 

Cookies that gather information about how a user uses the website. This information is used to display the most relevant advertisements for a specific user on Facebook & Instagram. These will be stored for a maximum of 2 years. For more information, please see the cookie policy of Facebook and Instagram . 


Used by the social network service LinkedIn, for monitoring the use of embedded services. 

Links to websites 

On the reference page(s) of, links are displayed to the website of our customers. We have no control over the content of these websites and are not responsible for these customers or their policies and practices.  We recommend that you review the privacy policies of these websites, as their procedures concerning the collection, treatment and processing of personal data may differ from our own. 

Transmission to processors and third parties  

 Personal data is processed by companies that have been engaged by the Data Controller for the execution of the agreement. According to law, these companies are known as ‘processors’. For example, this may concern the company that provides hosting for our website. The ‘processors’ act under the responsibility of the Data Controller. We have signed a processor agreement with all companies that process data from us. Based on this agreement, the processors may only use this data for the purpose as described in the agreement. A processor agreement specifies where the personal data may be processed and the arrangements for the security of the storage.  On the basis of this agreement, personal data may only be shared with third parties if the Data Controller is required to transfer personal data to competent authorities based on a legal obligation.
